Your first week with Drumkit
Last updated: October 18, 2026
Drumkit fits into the way you already work. Here's a simple plan for making it a habit in your first week.
| When | Do this |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | Get set up, pin the sidebar, and quote one real request end to end. Look at every section on the way down. |
| Days 2–3 | Open the sidebar on every quote request. Check what Kit filled in before you price. Save your default margin once you've settled on a number. |
| Day 4 | The next time a customer sends a list, try Batch Quote. Use bulk edit for anything that applies to every lane. |
| Day 5 | Open View previous quotes on a busy thread. Make sure what you quoted shows as Quoted. If it doesn't, you probably typed the rate in Outlook. Send from Drumkit next time. |
Habits that pay off
- Give the lane a quick look before you click Get Quick Quote.
- Use Draft Email when you want a second look before it goes out.
- When Kit misreads something, fix it and let us know. It makes Kit better for everyone at TQL.
- Tell us what's slowing you down. We read every suggestion.
