Quote on bidding portals with the Chrome extension

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Most of your quoting happens in Outlook. When a customer posts loads on a bidding portal instead, the Drumkit Chrome extension brings the same Quick Quote to the portal page, so you can price the load and drop your rate into the bid without retyping it.

See it in action: quoting a load on Trucker Tools (2 min) and quoting on Emerge (2 min).

1. Install the extension

  1. Open the Drumkit extension in the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome. It works in Microsoft Edge too.
  2. Pin it: click the puzzle-piece icon in the browser toolbar, then the pin next to Drumkit.
  3. Click the Drumkit icon and choose Sign into Drumkit. Sign in with your TQL Microsoft account, then close and reopen the sidebar.

2. Open a load on the portal

Log in to the portal the way you always do, in the same browser. Drumkit never asks for your portal password. Open a load or bid page; the portal guide shows exactly which page to use on each portal.

When Drumkit spots a load, a Drumkit button appears on the page with Load detected! Click Open Drumkit, or click the Drumkit icon in your toolbar.

3. Get your rate

Drumkit fills in the lane from the portal page. Check it, click Get Quick Quote, and set your margin exactly as you would in Outlook. See Set your truck pay, margin and bill rate.

4. Put your rate in the bid

At the bottom of the sidebar you'll find buttons for the portal:

ButtonWhat it does
Input total sell / Input line haulTypes your rate into the portal's bid field. You review it and click the portal's own submit button.
Copy total sell / Copy line haulCopies the number so you can paste it, for pages where Drumkit can't fill the field.

Always finish in the portal: check your bid and click the portal's submit button.

FAQs

What's the difference between total sell and line haul?

Total sell is your all-in rate. Line haul is the total minus the fuel estimate. Some portals only take line haul; the portal guide calls those out.

I reopened a load I already bid on and Quick Quote didn't fill in.

That's expected. Once you've bid on a load, Drumkit won't start a new quote for it. Fill in Quick Quote yourself if you want to re-price it.

I see "Rate entered. The portal requires you to click Submit."

Drumkit filled in your bid. Click the portal's submit button to send it.

I see "Submission is not supported for this page."

You're on a portal page Drumkit can't fill. Open the load's bid or detail page instead (see the portal guide), or use Copy and paste the rate yourself.

The Drumkit button didn't show up on the portal.

Refresh the page, or click the Drumkit icon in your browser toolbar to open the sidebar.

Can I use Batch Quote on a portal?

No. On portals you quote one load at a time. Batch Quote is in Outlook.
